MEET YOUR CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. David Harvey DC

David Harvey brings ten years of practical experience in chiropractic care and is a registered member of both the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and the United Chiropractic Association (UCA). In 2015, he completed his Masters in Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales. David specialises in Applied Kinesiology and Advanced BioStructural Correction, areas in which he has developed significant expertise.

A former national track and field athlete, David competed in the long jump. His journey into chiropractic care began after suffering a hamstring injury, where he found that chiropractic treatment was the key to his recovery. This experience inspired him to launch HEALTH SHAK with his partner in 2020, a venture that earned them the Best New Business award from the West London Chambers of Commerce in 2021.

Beyond his professional pursuits, David is passionate about giving back to the community. He actively engages in charity work with local schools and universities, including the honour of delivering a TEDx talk. Recognising that less than 1% of chiropractors in the UK come from Black backgrounds, David has made it his mission to inspire future generations to consider careers in health and service.

In his spare time, you can find David at the gym, where he is preparing for his first powerlifting competition.

  • "After only a few sessions with David, I've already noticed a difference in my recovery after training, as well as everyday movement feeling much lighter; my sleep has also improved as well as my lower back/hip which I've had problems with for a while. David takes care in explaining each step and even delves into the mechanics and body science which I thoroughly enjoy! David and Tania have created a safe, welcoming and wonderful environment and I really do feel supported with each session. I absolutely recommend Health Shak! It's already becoming one of the best investments I've made in a long time."
